Quiet escape
Inspiration comes in all forms, and in this instance, a collection of cabbageware and ceramics shaped the timeless blue and green palette of this South Yarra apartment. Subtle variants of the two tones were applied to everything from walls to furniture, providing lightness and contrast against the dark oak window frames.
Existing pieces have been brought into a refreshing new context. Now, antique tables and cabinets sit alongside contemporary artworks, and ornate wallpapers are tempered by neutral linens. Those much-loved ceramics are mirrored in the botanical textiles, while additional accessories sourced from global suppliers add up to a truly individual home.
