A country house in the NSW Southern Highlands has been transformed into a cheerful family home,
with an extensive art collection informing much of its design. The warm base palette and textured wallpapers
act as a subtle backdrop so these personal pieces can shine in their chosen settings.
With a keen love of interiors, the owner requested plenty of textiles and pattern,
and wasn’t afraid to go bold with colour. Rich upholstery complements the existing antique furniture
and keepsakes, playing to the home’s robust nature. As is fitting, the old building led the look,
with classic and timeless furnishings chosen to complement rather than curtail its character.
